About This Project

Juno & Bruto

On occasion of its X anniversary altreforme celebrates its two inner souls: the material one, dedicated to aluminium in its purity, and the pop one, inspired by its colorful finishes.
Together with other four Italian designers (Antonio Aricò, Marcantonio, Zanellato/Bortotto, Alessandro Zambelli)  I’ve been asked to create two iconic sculptures, one more material and raw, and the other one painted with the colours of the rainbow, to portray this altreforme dichotomy through my personal vision.
Juno represents abundance with her curvy shape and colorful elements. She’s a goddess, a prehistorical idol, symbol of fertility.
Bruto is an ode to functionalism and technology, he’s made to be solid and his shape reveals every technical aspect of his production .
