About This Project

Saba Italia
Island is a collection composed of three fabric covered poufs whose organic shapes recall the curved lines of the coasts lapped by the sea.
The strongly organic forms are felt not only looking at them from above, but on all dimensions, to recall the enveloping movement of the water that smoothes and shapes the stones.
In this way the volumes are perceived differently in space according to the perspective from which they are observed. The combination of different fabrics in the base and in the upper part, visually detaches the seat from the ground and lets it float in space.
