Interni Panorama Cover

Cover artwork
for Interni
Interni magazine, asked me to create an artwork for the cover of its special issue released on september 2018, for Cersaie Fair.
This abstract and very geometric design refers Auguste Herbin’s works: a French painter of the first half of the 20th century who, after a few years of impressionist and cubist experimentation, in the more mature period painted canvases with pure, firm colors and impeccable geometries, creating  an alphabet of archetypal forms that refers to the architectural composition.
In this case the plain colors are replaced by the textures and patterns of the decorated surfaces. They create volumes and chiaroscuro that highlight and detach the geometries from the background.
This architectural composition is now filled with its own surfaces, showing the qualities of the single material and the numerous combinations that can be created.
